Since I actually have a much better way to write posts now (Live Writer) you might see more long, rambling posts. I tend to write big rants and such late at night, but either post them to my other sites…
I have migrated the site back to WordPress. I’m not having as much time to work on functionality I want in the site, so I figured I would try this again. Migrating all the system data back is mostly done,…
I'm testing some stuff with Bloglines, so you may notice some weird things happeneing.

I'm testing out some caching, so let me know if you notice a speedup, or, more likely, error messages.
You may notice some Consumating questions appearing around here. Once again, I'm testing a few things with xmlrpc support. Next up I'm working on a full xmlrpc interface to Monkey Attack to make integration with services like Consumating and applications like Live Writer easier.
Oh, and I'm sad and need votes:
Billy, its about time we had a little talk about the birds and the bees, and the trannie midgets.
I just realized I posted a story about freaky rock and roll sex right before one about rock and roll music for babies. That just seems wrong.
I am trying to write again. We'll see how long this streak lasts. I expect one day to finish something I'm working on. Don't hold your breath though.
This time I am working on a basic story. At first I was writing it in a comic book script style. I had final draft going with a comics template and everything. Then I decided that was too much work. Worrying about formatting the text, and thinking about laying out the panels was talking to much of my already meager bran juices. So now I'm just writing free form. Its crap, but at least I am getting some of the ideas down. I'll come back later and fix it up.
Initially I was just writing this in MS Word, and then saving it to a thumbdrive. Then I kept losing the thumbdrive, or leaving it plugged into a computer. So that idea wasn't working too well.
Then I starting using Box.net. It works well, and I could organize files into folders so I could keep everything organized. I did have some problems with my network connection at home being down, but for the most part it was working. The only real issue I was having was remembering to sync my files up. I was using NetDrive for a while to just map a drive and work directly on the server, but I was getting stability issues doing that.
So my latest latest time wasting plan to save time is to blog my drafts. No thumbdrives to lose. No software to install if I don't want to. No problems with Sync if I am only, and the ability to save local drafts if I plan on being offline. I have been trying out a few different blogging desktop apps, just to get a little simpler startup process when I am ready to type something up. This is being written with the Windows Live Writer on my PC, though on started it on Qumana on my eMachines OS X laptop (have to keep my geek cred up some how).

мека мебелThat looks ridiculous. And ridiculously fun.
