Merry Christmas. Freaks.

I enjoy Battle Pope, but its getting a little played out. This was good though.
It’s a certain person’s birthday tomorrow. Now, regardless of whether you worship him as the son of God, or admire him as a very enlightened carpenter, I think you’ll enjoy this story. This story was published in Battle Pope Color #11, and written by Robert “Cablerine” Kirkman, penciled by Tony Moore (who also did inks) and Cory Walker, and colored by Val Staples.

This year, Toyota will present its FT-HS Hybrid Sports Concept which will be a super car powered by a 3.5-L V6 engine with more than 400 horsepowers working together with a hybrid powertrain with a 0-60 time of around 4 seconds.

I finally got a chance to checkout The Host. It was a pretty good action/horror flick with plenty of comedy.
The event described in the beginning of Gwoemul is based on an actual
event. In February 2000 in a US military facility located in the center
of Seoul, US military civilian employee Mr. McFarland ordered to
dispose formaldehyde into the sewer system leading to Han River despite
the objection of a Korean subordinate. Korean government attempted to
prosecute Mr. McFarland in Korean court but US military refused to hand
over the custody of Mr. McFarland to the Korean legal system. Later, a
Korean judge convicted Mr. McFarland in absentia. Public enraged at the
Korean government’s inability to enforce its law on its own soil. In
2005, nearly five years after the original incident, Mr. McFarland was
finally found guilty in Korean court in his presence. He never served
the actual prison sentence, however. No sighting of mutant creature has
been reported in Han River, yet.

Its not the greatest TV, but its nice for the price. Shipping and handling was listed at $100 for me. Wall mounts start at about $50 there if you want one of those.

I love a good solicit.
Best SOLICIT TEXT - ONSLAUGHT REBORN #5 (of 5) Fifteen exclamation points, ladies and gentlemen. I have to stand up and applaud this one. From the solicit: This is it! The heroes have assembled!! And the greatest evil the universe has ever faced is ready to take them on!!! Who lives?!?! Who dies?!?!?! And what will be the final fate of Onslaught?!?!?!?! It’s like someone gave the copy editor a basket of pixie stix and you know what? I like it. Say what you want about Onslaught Reborn, but it’s a darn fine book for the hyperactive teen set (and those looking to regain those years once more). This solicit is one step away from 1337 speak and that’s a-OK with me. Honorable Mention for PUNISHER WAR JOURNAL #5, for promising “The ending of this issue will punch you in the face and laugh at your tears.†That’s a Punisher book to me.

Warren Ellis has put up a description of his next novel. I doesn’t really sound like my kind of thing, but I’ll check it out.
LISTENER is, god help me, a near-future sf novel. An accident at a military loading bay with an illegal biological weapon led to the extermination of almost everyone in America. Some years on, the British government is contacted by a colony of survivors Stateside who claim to have a cure for The Bite. An internet journalist  a man studded with audio implants turning him into an objective “listening post,†the Listener of the title - is engaged to travel with a fact-finding mission to the Seattle colony, where unaffected survivors are living uncomfortably close to a gathering of the Bitten, people in whom the bioweapon became chronic rather than fatal, and in whom the weapon may still be active.
