That's crazy talk.
Look for a post on the Flickr Blog later today announcing that 1,234,384 photos were geotagged in the first 24 hours after the new feature launched yesterday (159 of those were mine).

There are a few good sets out there. They have Entourage, Seinfeld, West Wing, all kinds of crap. I'd recomend Venture Brothers if you only get one. Its worth it just for the DVD art.

By request I will post some deals again. Remember, that money you saved can be given to me for comics and hosing fees. Selfish bastards. I work my fingers to the bone posting stuff I was reading anyway. And what do I get for my hard work? Complaints.

Virgin comics is turning out some interesting looking comics if nothing else. I've enjoyed what they have produced so far.

The Dark Spider Returns? Why not.
"The book features all of the classic Spider-Man characters: Peter, Aunt May, Mary Jane, Jonah Jameson. What happens to these characters 35 years from now? Maybe Peter returns to that troubled loner he once was. We all regress at times. Bitter, broken, a failure, those are the words that once again describe his life."

Wired did an article about Wikis in a wiki. Cute.
This wiki began as an unedited 1,059 word article on the wiki phenomenon, exactly as Ryan filed it. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to do the job of a Wired News editor and whip it into shape. Don't change the quotes, but feel free to reorganize it, make cuts, smooth the prose, or add links — whatever it takes to make it a lively, engaging news piece.

I've been enjoying the Teen Titans OYL, and I think the idea of the Titan's East is interesting. With that said, some of these characters sounds like crap, and just look silly. Silly in the context of people in spandex flying around figting other people in spandex even.
And with a slew of "missing year" Titans being revealed in the next Titans story arc and the recent announcement of the Titans East roster by DC, Daniel's new characters have been getting a lot of attention.

Adult Swim has picked up Trinity Blood to start in September. Its a GONZO production, so I'm sure it will look ok, but they are hit or miss story wise. They have a trailer up.
The background is in the distant future, a post-apocalyptic world after the destruction brought about by Armageddon. The war between humans (Terran) and vampires (Methuselah) continues, as a struggle between two factions: the Vatican and the New Human Empire. Yet, amidst the bloodshed and violence, many desire a peaceful co-existence between the two species. However, standing between them and this goal is the Rosenkreuz Orden, a group of vampire extremists who manipulate the two sides and pit them against each other. To combat them, the Vatican special operations group "AX", led by Cardinal Caterina, must use everything they have - even a vampire who preys on the blood of other vampires.

I hate Oracle soooo much, that things like this make me smile.
Replication Server can move data from an Oracle database into EnterpriseDB or back to Oracle if the user chooses. EnterpriseDB Advanced Server has no issue running Oracle applications built with PL/SQL, Oracle's proprietary version of SQL, Astor says.
