They missed most of the regular blog rush, but at least they are getting in on the vlog/video feature fad.
"User-generated content has the potential to play a pivotal role in journalism whether it's online or offline," Mitch Gelman, senior vice president and executive producer for CNN.com, said in a statement. "With CNN Exchange, we've essentially created a one-stop shop for CNN.com users to share their contributions with other Internet users."

It still seems to weird to see mainstream press cover comic books. And the fact they do it pretty well is weird.
It's a truth so often stated it's in danger of being pounded to cliché: The superhero, created in America 68 years ago, is a form of modern mythology. The ancient Norse had Thor, the Greeks had Hercules. We have, well . . . Thor and Hercules, but also Superman, Batman, Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wonder Man, Wonder Woman, Captains Marvel, America and Britain and, Speedball, about whom, more in a moment.

ComingSoon.net has confirmed that Patton Oswalt, Brian Dennehy, Brad Garrett, Janeane Garofalo, Ian Holm and John Ratzenberger will voice Disney/Pixar's animated-adventure Ratatouille, opening June 29, 2007.

I dig the look, the story sounds a little cliched.
In 2054, Paris is a labyrinth where all movement is monitored and recorded. Casting a shadow over everything is the city’s largest company, Avalon, which insinuates itself into every aspect of contemporary life to sell its primary export - youth and beauty. In this world of stark contrasts and rigid laws the populace is kept in line and accounted for.

From the thread, it sounds like some brands other than Dell have similar issues. I've got speaker interference from cell phones going off, but never had a computer reboot or lockup.
Tens of thousand of DELL business computers could crash IN THE VINCINITY OF A CELL PHONE!! Are your companies hit? Do you use any of these lines? This is the most bizarre and unexplainable computer bug ever."

Bruce Timm is about the only reason I am holding out hope for the Legion show.
Timm initially didn't want to make a Justice League show because he felt that in older JLA comic books all the characters had "exactly the same personality." He changed his mind he said, because "I was out of a job and had 20 years on my mortgage."

I'm a big fan of the Xbox Media Center.
Fortunately, unleashing your Xbox’s hidden talents no longer requires soldering skills or Linux savvy. Since we first wrote about modding the console, in May 2004 [“Let Your Xbox Loose”], hackers have devised programs known as softmod installers that make unlocking the box a simple “click Next” process anyone can follow. Once complete, you can copy dozens of applications, including Xbox Media Center (XBMC), from your computer.

I get the feeling the videos will be better than the movie.

I think this kind of stuff has leaked into the brains of the people there.
Nishizawa-san, flipping through the pages of your book “Deep Inside” one gets sucked into this technical-magic-wonderland. I can’t believe that those places actually look like that - better than any CG setting I have ever seen. Bladerunner would simply be jeallous! Even the lighting is perfect in pink and green!

OK, so its a short article on illegal foods. Cheese made from raw milk, fugu, stuff like that. They they hit "Mellifed Man".
According to Mary Roach, author of Stiff, men 70-80 years old, on death’s doorstep anyway, would cease to eat food, instead partaking solely of honey. Pretty soon, they would be mellified, that is, “he excretes honey (the urine and feces are entirely honey).” Soon he dies and is placed in a honey-filled coffin which is then sealed for 100 years. At the end of the 100 years, the goop is eaten up.
