Writing by Chris on Tuesday, 27 of June , 2006 at 10:02 pm

Check out this clip from Top Gear of a Hydrogen, drive by wire car.  I’m getting one.  In ten years.  Or twenty.

“With AUTOnomy, GM shared a vision. Hy-wire accelerates our progress with a functional proof of concept which strengthens our confidence in our ability to gain marketplace acceptance of production fuel cell vehicles.”

40 Things You Don’t Know About Superman

Writing by Chris on Tuesday, 27 of June , 2006 at 5:01 pm

Mostly becuase they suck.  There are a few good ones though.

9. Dirty Harry was an early choice for the original big-screen hero. Before Christopher Reeve was cast in Supe’s 1978 big-screen return, director Richard Donner approached three big-name stars about the part. But Robert Redford was too expensive, Clint Eastwood was tied up with Every Which Way But Loose and James Caan told the director, "There’s no way I’m getting into that silly suit."

Transformers Movie Leaks Coming Fast And Furious — Bumblebee Robot And Teaser Trailer Pics

Writing by Chris on Tuesday, 27 of June , 2006 at 4:56 pm

I still can’t let myself get too excited, but I think this movie is sounding more and more like it will be hella fun.

Today we’ve seen a picture of a huge animatronic Bumblebee (who was just dressed up as a Camaro last time we saw him) from the new live-action Transformers movie scheduled for release next summer. But that’s only part one — after the jump (SPOILER WARNING) we’ve got screen captures and a description of the teaser trailer due to hit theaters next week during the Fourth of July movie season.

Cadillac Sixteen

Writing by Chris on Tuesday, 27 of June , 2006 at 11:31 am

More like Cadillac Sweet Sixteen!  No, they where right.

Its been a while since I thought about getting a Cadillac, but that is a sexy car.  If they came out with a car that looked like that concept I would consider buying it.  I can’t afford to buy it, but I would consider the hell out of it.

There are plans to introduce a car very similar to this in 2009. It will have a base V8, and the top model will have a V12.

600 lbs. woman survives getting thrown through sunroof

Writing by Chris on Tuesday, 27 of June , 2006 at 11:24 am

There is some video of the "car" on the site, and you can see where the roof buckled OUT.

Thirty-seven-year-old Ruth Matthews told paramedics that another vehicle cut her off in traffic, and she took evasive action to avoid a crash. Her Isuzu Amigo rolled over and she was thrown through the sunroof and onto the roadway.

Playa Rater: The 10 Most Influential Video Gamers Of All Time

Writing by Chris on Friday, 23 of June , 2006 at 9:00 am

MTV has a few interesting profiles of the "Most Influential" gamers.  Several of them where disturbing, but as you might expect, the Korean was the scariest.

The Never-Winded Athlete: Im Yo Hwan. In America, pro gamer Jonathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel appears on "60 Minutes," endorses his own line of computer equipment and serves as living proof that, yes, you can make money for being really good at video games. But it’s in South Korea — where at least a third of the country plays online games, where multiple TV stations broadcast pro-gaming tournaments and where tens of thousands of thunderstick-waving fans pack outdoor, rock-concert-style pro-gaming showdowns — that players enter by speedboat. The nation’s favorite game is the sci-fi strategy title "StarCraft," and the most famous gamer who ever played it is Im Yo Hwan, a.k.a. "Slayers Boxer," who mastered the game’s least-respected warrior class to become, for a time, the Michael Jordan of "StarCraft." With bodyguards and screaming female fans, a 2003 autobiography and at least a quarter-million dollars in annual profits (one longtime game announcer pegged his annual take at over $1 million), Im Yo Hwan isn’t an underground curiosity. He’s a national sports icon.

Beyond “D’oh!”: Simpsons Quotes For Everyday Use

Writing by Chris on Thursday, 22 of June , 2006 at 2:15 pm

The Onion has a funny article on usefull phrases from the Simpsons.  Just reading the quotes made me laugh more than any recent Simpson episode has.

Quote: "Then get me his non-union, Mexican equivalent!"

Episode: "A Star Is Burns" (3/5/95)

Context: When Steven Spielberg isn’t available to direct the self-aggrandizing opus "A Burns For All Seasons," Mr. Burns demands the next best thing. Enter Steven Spielbergo.

Real-life uses: Any time you have to settle for second best. For example, virtually everyone turned down the male lead in Basic Instinct 2. Thus David Morrissey becomes Michael Douglas’ non-union, Mexican equivalent.

About Me

This is it. I'm not looking to become an Internet star, or buy a house off by adsense moneyz. Though I am willing to go with the flow on either.

You may have noticed that I am not a graphic designer. Or a real programmer. Or race car driver, though that may not be as obvious from the site itself. I apologize for any mistakes, ommisions, or eye gouging graphics choices I may have perpetrated on anyone through ths page
