I owuld see this movie based on teh decription alone, but when you add Christopher Walken? I’m camping out.
the movie tells the harrowing tale of "a former ping-pong champ [who] is brought in by the government to infiltrate a high-stakes underworld [ping-pong] tournament and bring down the organizer, a feared crime boss."

OK, so a guy donating $35k to charity for the right to program Vh1 for an hour is funny. Choosing ‘99 Red Ballons’ is funnier. The description of the song in the article? That is frickin GOLD.
"99 Luftballons" is a Cold-War era protest song that tells the story of 99 red balloons floating into the air, triggering an apocalypse when the military sends planes to intercept them.

Cooperative Pac-Man. A bunchh of people, using one controller, where movement is based on majority rules.
Although the ROM was run very slow (10% normal speed), every 7 or 8 minutes, it would speed up to normal speed, usually resulting in crisis, screams, and death.

Snakes on a plane sounds promising. Zombies on a plane sounds like a franchine waiting to happen.
"RUN AWAY!
Looking for excitement? You’ve made the right choice. Only a handful of the survivors remain…. Now, the clock is ticking, the pilots are dead, no place to land, fuel is running out, the dead are hungry and they are coming….

In a game. On a massive scale. On purpose.
Ancient punishment is handed out for the all-too-modern crime of ganking (or gang-killing new players) as Roman-style justice returns to Britain for the first time in nearly 20 centuries.

Will Wright has an interesting article about gaming up on Wired. The long and short version of his Spore speech from a while back are all over YouTube as well if you haven’t seen it.
Just watch a kid with a new videogame. The last thing they do is read the manual. Instead, they pick up the controller and start mashing buttons to see what happens. This isn’t a random process; it’s the essence of the scientific method. Through trial and error, players build a model of the underlying game based on empirical evidence collected through play. As the players refine this model, they begin to master the game world. It’s a rapid cycle of hypothesis, experiment, and analysis. And it’s a fundamentally different take on problem-solving than the linear, read-the-manual-first approach of their parents.

And I thought my all baby diet was helping my health.
New York Times, by Florence Williams dated January 9, 2005 published the toxicity of breast milk found to contain “paint thinners, dry-cleaning fluids, wood preservatives, toilet deodorizers, cosmetic additives, gasoline byproducts, rocket fuel, termite poisons, fungicides and flame retardants”. Want to hear the worst part? These chemicals will remain in human tissue for decades long enough for these babies to pass the PCB’s and chemical onto their own children.

Thank God people are working on stuff like this.
GUPI is a robotised guinea pig that looks and feels like a real one. GUPI is highly autonomous, he walks around in the house without bumping into anything or falling off a table or the stairs thanks to sensors in its eyes and legs.. GUPI is so smart he can also walk through a maze and you can be assured that he will find a way out.
