OK, I hate to beat a dead horse, (really I don’t, its much easier that beating a live one), but Boondocks is the funiest show on TV. If you aren’t watching it, I hate you.
Gin Rummy: Basically, nigga technology is anything that doesn’t need a printer.
Wuncler III: Why?
Gin Rummy: ‘Cause niggas never have nothin’ to print.

I agree so much with this story it hurts me in my geek bones. Snow Crash! A Doom movie that had some relation to the games! Something!
And HHGTTG would have been a tall order for anybody, since most of the comedy was in the narrative language and descriptions, two things that don’t come across on film.

I’m so celbrating Valentines tonight.
The familiar double-lobed heart symbol seen on Valentine’s Day cards and candy was inspired by the shape of human female buttocks as seen from the rear, according to a professor of psychology who studied the origin, history and symbolism of the Feb.14 holiday.

By Ken Levine: "What love really is"
Taken from an episode of Taxi (with explanation).
“Love is the end of happiness!
The end. Because one day all a guy’s got to do to be happy is to watch the Mets. The next day you gotta have Zena in the room watching the Mets with you. You don’t know why. They’re the same Mets, it’s the same room…but you gotta have Zena there.”

Have I mentioned that I will read anything written by Warren Ellis?
With regards to the story’s inspiration, Ellis explained, "It came directly from a dare from Avatar publisher William Christensen, which was framed something like, ‘I bet you couldn’t write a Conan-style heroic fantasy book for Juan Jose Ryp, you effete English fop.’

During his WonderCon panel, Frank Miller discussed his next graphic novel. Once again, Miller returns to the world of the Batman, this time with Holy Terror, Batman!. Though the title plays with Robin’s classic catchphrase, the book deals with a serious subject. Gotham has been attacked by Al Qaeda and Batman sets out to defend the city he loves.
