The Animation Archive has some sketches from Vinvent Waller of Ren and Stimpy fame. Strange, strange stuff.

Gawker did a pause a segment of the Daily Show when they where displaying a list of jokes. They are old, but there is still some funny left in them, and more importantly, they where displated on basic cable.
1. Two gay guys were in the shower together when one looked down and saw a puddle of white liquid. He said to the other man, What did I tell you about farting in the shower?
2. Did you hear about the two homosexual judges? The kept trying each other.
3. How can you make a gay man scream twice? **** [redaction Comedy Central’s] him real hard. Then wipe your dick off on his curtains.
4. Why did the little Greek boy run away from home? He didn’t like the way he was being reared.
5. Why do so many gays have moustaches? To hide the stretch marks.

Nick Denton of Gawker has a few links and some tips for startups. Tips include links to some common programs like Triallian all the way to a good flat fee patent law practice. I thought the list of possible needs was more interesting than the sollutions, but I’m weird like that.

OK, I switched WYSIWYG editors again for Monkeyattack. HTMLArea was just bugy. TinyMCE seems much nicer so far. The only thing it is missing (and it may have it) is an on demand editor rather than an onload. I had HTMLArea configured to load when I clicked a field to edit it, rather than on a page load. I figure TinyMCE has the option, I just haven’t dug through the docs. I actually didn’t need anything except the install page to get started.
